My Story
Scentsy started as an opportunity to fund a hobby and turned out to be my new career move! I was introduced to Scentsy while attending an Open House in November 2010, I was the lucky winner in a door prize drawing and I won a Scentsy Plug In warmer. I was so excited, I had never heard of Scentsy and couldn't wait to try it. I took it home and plugged it in immediately using a scent my mother had bought previously (Clove and Cinnamon). Over the next few days I let the scent work it’s magic while I worked on my first quilt. Its magic did work. As I hummed and sewed, I couldn’t help noticing how the scent alone pushed me along and set a mood that took me back to my childhood at my grandmother's for hol idays and just the overwhelming feeling of family. As a stay at home mother, wife of a United States Marine and a disabled Navy Veteran, I had found the answer to fund my new expensive hobby…quilting. What I had not bargained for was the huge group of consultants who take you in with open arms, the fantastic training that is yours to have and use in any aspect of your life, and most importantly an opportunity to continue to keep my work schedule flexible to fit my chaotic lifestyle. Scentsy has provided me with the opportunity to help provide my family with wants when we needed it most. I can now enjoy watching my daughters play soccer, practice dance or ride horses for their growth and enjoyment. This opportunity allows me to have a flexible work schedule so I can have the time to be the mom I want to be. <!--endbody-->
